    Re: ZRX Confessions....

I took mine out Wednesday, after riding my VFR for a month or so, actually had to wipe the cobwebs off her. I had an easy ride in mind, and I followed

that thought for about 30 miles, then I turned E on 24hwy (4 lane, with a very wide median) and decided to let her run on the mainjets for awhile. Your right,

it had been awhile and I short shifted to 4th and then rolled her on.......sitting bolt upright we got to an indicated 145, went about 3 miles at that speed

and then I'd had enough, limited myself to about 85 max after, but what a rush!

ZRX24... I love my ZRX and I to stand back and look at it from time to time thinking about what a great M/C it is but I for sure don't have all the pictures and park it to marvel at it's beauty like you. Not to say that's a bad thing It's great to see people that have the love and passion for things that are not legal and immoral. Some people will that what you do is strange but I say keep up the spirit

Take care and be safe is all we ask... love can be blind

But seriously, my confession is I can't ride a wheelie to save my life. Too scared of looping out. I do make up for it a bit by taking her to redline through the first four gears. Then I get the sudden vision of a bublegum machine going off behind me, and let off the throttle!

You know what is truly frightening ....

When I do this it's nothing more than a well orchestrated comedy routine that has been practiced for years.

When I see the shy quiet type, start to really get into abusing a chicken.

    WHOA!

One young Lady comes to mind when she started to really get into spanking her naughty chicken named "Sheila".

Yelling and tenderizing at the same time.

There may have been more going on there ....

    Maybe not.

In all seriousness, I find the WOT acceleration from about 6k RPM to about red line is the hardest I've felt any bike pull that I've ever ridden. It actually feels like the bike is pulling out from my arms and coming out from under me.

Oh, and in regards to looking at your ZRX all the time from anywhere...guilty.

I don't like riding motorcycles with people who aren't on ZRXs. It makes me sick hearing them rant and rave about their motorcycles while the most perfect motorcycle ever is sitting right next to them and they're oblivious to it
