Very nice Site Ivan. Simple and clean presentation of easily accessed information.

Question. Do you design manufacture your Kit's components?

Very nice. Saved as a favorite for when I get your kit later.
Check out the numbers on the FZ. OUCH!! Over 141 HP.

Any idea how your kit will do with a stock exhaust that has had 22 1/4" holes drilled in it?

I keep telling myself to be practical, that I don't need more power, but I think I'm being brainwashed by this board.:D

    msandler,

I design the needles myself, although I do not own the machine that they are made on.

All the jets are always OEM, and all the tools are always good quality.

    Nice site

I liked the simplicity of the site. Easy to to get around in it.

Yes, nice layout as others have said.

But a stock ZRX "barely" lift it's wheel in 1st? Barely compared to what? An open class motocross bike?? Sheesh.

    Hey Ivan:

Have you tried your setup with the 4 degree advancer? Any opinion?

  12. #12
Not yet, I will though (advancer)

My ZRX1200 would not wheelie all by itself in 1st gear, without a tug on the bars (or a on/off/on of the throttle) when it was stock.

It was very lazy. Now it responds the way that I like it to.

Most of the models that I have been working with........ ZX9, R1, 'busas w/ piston kits........ these bikes will wheelie with you on the tank trying to keep it down in 2nd and 3rd gear.

The ZRX is a very lazy and unresponsive engine when is has stock jetting.

When mine had no mods it would pull the tire up as soon as it saw 5500. You could had stood on the tire itself but it was still coming up. With the 2.5 it is off the ground at 2500 and climbing. Bollerts bike with the Ivan kit has a totally useless 1st gear because the front doesn't climb it just jumps up. If I were to try an Ivan kit in my bike then I got used to the feel of his kit I would then pull my advancer out to see what happens.

I like your website. I was just wondering, will you be making any products for the ZRX1100?

  15. #15
I have a ZRX1100 w/ muzzy coming in soon for some re-tuning and I will test the current carb kit on it....if I need to make some changes, I will..... and then offer a kit for that as well.

As far as other products go..........I have a lot of things going on right now..........we'll see.

    IVAN:

I for one would purchase a kit for the ZRX1100 if you make it available. You might have a good number of people interested in that product.

    Ivan,

Have a quick look at your Dyno charts on your web site for the ZRX. I may be confused (well, ok, I know I'm confused), but it looks like the pictures are swapped. Either that or I really want a modified air box without a jet kit or Muzzy pipe.

I know you said it was a new site, so I figured its just a file name problem. I checked the code and the file names in the code make sense.

    It should read......

Stock vs mod box, carb kit and Muzzy....

Thanks, it's just another thing to add to minor corrections.

    I'll take care of it.

From the dyno charts, I would think that very few of them have the kits. Most seem to be comparisons of stock vs. what happens when you add a pipe, or make an airbox mod, etc. Very few say they have the jet kit.

Now, I'm guessing that a lot of the ones that say they have the pipe added, or whatever, ALSO have the jet kit, but that would be a pure guess.

If I didn't know about your products already, and went to the dyno charts to find some "back-up" for them, I'd conclude there really wasn't any.

    Ivan,
When you say stock airbox, do you also mean stock paper filter ? Wondering about the use of a drop-in K&N filter with your kit ? Thx Troop

    Ivan,

I sent you fax yesterday. Hopefully you got it.

Would like to buy a jetkit for my rexer 1100.

AinŽt gonna order it from England. The price is about 150Ł!!! You have a discount right now for 15% off and euros course on dollar is better compared to british pound.

Let me know, if you can deliver and weŽll work out the money transfer...

    Questions for Ivan about Mods.

    Hi Ivan,
I installed your jet kit in the wifes FZ1 several months back, (great kit btw), and now I think I'm ready for the ZRX kit fro my '04. The question(s): What do the block off plates offer me for the FZ1 and ZRX? These are daily drivers (off road of course ), how will removing the air pump and using block off plates affect the streetability? Both bikes have slip-ons, Scorpion on FZ1 and Two Brothers on ZRX. One more, I'm in Houston (hot and humid like the tropics in summer ), will the above mods generate more heat or prevent cooling in any way?

I await your answers so I can decide how much to spend.
    Thanks,
    Tim

I've found that removal of the air injection system using block off plates, machined plugs, chewing gum, etc, etc, has zero affect on how the bike functions other than help reduce popping on decel.

So it's just a cold air injection to mix in the exhaust so it will pass a sniffer? Oh, that thing is gone!!
Does the ZRX have the injection too? If so, where is it?

Yeah, my bad. I have awakened a long dead thread. (pardon the rhyme)
