    ZRX1200 rear rim on a ZRX1100

    Did a search, found nothing.

In a discussion with a fellow ZRXer on Facebook.

I would think putting a ZRX12 rim on an 1100 would be the path of least resistance.

He says that it's tough, and that a ZX-11 rim swap is easier.

    Educate me please?

I'm sure it's been done or tried ....

    Thanks!

Not positive but seems like a 1100 rim with 1200 spacers would be worth a try.

zx11 rim bolts right on, all you've got to do is flip the washers.

ZX11 is easy, ZRX1200 not so much. The dreaded offset will bite you. A 1200 wheel and 1200 swing arm if you want the wider wheel (and offset).

It used to be on here.......somewhere. I have a 1200 rim in an 1100 swingarm. It's not hard if you have a lathe available. I can get you the numbers but it will be a few weeks before I can get the wheel off and measure.

I cut it twice and it's still too short!!

    Re: ZRX1200 rear rim on a ZRX1100

    Info Mike gave me earlier...

    .16" off drive side 1100 spacer ( .14" off 1200 spacer)

.13 off caliper hanger spacer ( the one that fits into the hanger ).

He told me to flip the rear sprocket to reduce the offset of the chain, but according to my laser I didn't need to.
The caliper stay arm will have to be offset the same as the right side spacer to align properly with the caliper. I made a new one as it was easier for me.

Works like a charm, thanks Mike. Heal well, see you in April on the track!!

Hi, first post on here, would it be possible someone could give me some information on what is involved in using the zrx 1200 wheel in the 1100 swingarm?
Would I need complete wheel with sprocket spacers, or will I have to get some spacers made, if anyone could help even make some spacers.
    Cheers
