    ZX10 wheel adapters

I just want to see if the demand for the kits for the ZX10 wheels is there. Price for the kits would be approximately 85.00. It would include the 2 front wheel spacers rear wheel spacers rear caliperstop and bolt. If I get 8 people who are for sure in I will make them. This is my last new project before all my focus is getting the clutch covers in production

Can't remember if it's the same dim. or not, but I could use a set of spacers for a zx14 rear wheel to go in an 1100 swinger. Complete front-end already acquired.

    Re: ZX10 wheel adapters

I don't need the front (going USD)

But would buy a kit for fitting a ZX10 wheel in a ZRX1100 arm.

Acceleration - 1109JE pistons, ZX11 Cams & rockers, ported head, CNC Valve job, CVK40 carbs, F/Pro kit, Tsukigi exhaust, dyna ignition, Ape clutch,
Handling - ZX14 front end, and clutch, ZX6 swingarm, ZX10 wheels, brembo rc19 master, braided lines, Works shocks,
Bling - Custom radiator, trainlight with HID, Jason bar end mirrors, dickstand & pulsar cover, Poshfaith sprocket cover, Sgt seat, Teds battery out, Mark444 S/S Kit..

Why don't you make ZX14 wheel adapters to fit ZRX1200 swinger. Sites has 15 triple clamp orders to graft forks to zrx.

Would the spacers be all that would be needed to mount the zims on our bikes or is that just a piece of a bigger puzzle? Also, what years zx10 rims would be the choose ones?

If you read through the threads you will either have to go with the adapted Honda VFR drive off the drive sprocket or and electronic speedometer via either GPS or with a wheel speed sensor.

Not that this seems to be going anywhere, but I was able to pick up a zx10 wheel at a great price, so I'd be in for a rear wheel kit if you made it.

I think Kawi Vandal has said in many threads that the 10 front wheel is a direct bolt on to the 14 front end. I've looked at so many of these conversion threads over the past few days I'm getting dizzy, so I can't remember if that is only for certain year wheels and what you use for rotors.

    Re: ZX10 wheel adapters

I talked to Jason the other day, he's living the usual demanding lifestyle.

Anyway, these kits would be for 1200 only. You lose the frontspeedo drive. 04- 08 wheels and the caliper stop is designed for 04-06 rear caliper hanger. Any custom fit up for the rear brake hose is up to the buyer. I'm using a ss line I found in my pile of parts and it's way too long but works.

I would suggest cleaning up that mess of wires and spring for the brake light switch and just use a brake bolt banjo hydraulic pressure switch spliced into the brake light wire.

I believe the 2006-2009(2010?) is but the rotor size changes year to year I think. I know 2009 is bolt in for zx14 front end. Somewhere about 2010 I believe the zx10 went to a larger axle.

May be interested in kit to make the rear work on 1200. I'm starting to collect parts to do the USD switch and wheel upgrade without having to go with expensive carros/dymags/etc....

Not sure how many people are interested at this point, but count me in for a 1100 kit. I've been wanting to do a wheel swap for a while, but going lightweight is out of my budget for now.
