    Re: Welcome!

Couple years ago I went out to the let the good times roll test ride event and took a C14 out to see if I was missing anything with the beemer. I did not like the brakes as they were to touchy and it had no low end go compared to the beemer. I cant say about the smoothness because the ride was not all that long but my 13GT is buzzy and myZX14 is so smooth it is unbelievable.
I only know 2 people that have stock C14's and they will not do a 20 mph roll on against me. I would just like to for S&G.

    Re: Welcome!

That is funny and my 17 year old called me Uncle Geezer today instead of Uncle Bobby after she saw me go for the Aleve's after shoveling the side walks.

2 years ago I show up for a 1st time ride with some beemer guys and I had a Kawasaki jacket on. They started talking about the K1300S being a Busa killer and I told them if they had ever ridden a Busa they would know that was a false statement.

I was asked to leave so even tho I am still a Geezer age wise I was not Geezer enuf to ride with the beemer folks.

I have a battery tender pigtail connected, it's the same connector as my (not a Gerbing) electric jacket so I'm pretty sure that will work.

Be careful with that setup. If you don't have a fuse and the insulation gets pinched or worn through you will get SMOKE!

You look good on it, Rick!

What has been the actual experience with valve adjusts on the Concours? USA models say 15,000 miles, rest of the world says 26,000 miles. Anyone had to change any shims at 15,000 miles?
