    Welcome!

Welcome to the newest ZRXOA discussion forum, just one of the many (brilliant) ideas we have been kicking around for 2014 and beyond. There are a number of members here that own, race, build, lust after, abuse, or otherwise divert funds away from the family food budget...and into the current king of Kawasaki motors, the 1400...that's currently bundled with the Concours 14 and the big ZX. This seems logical, since a large percentage of us have already went and done spent what we wanted and modded the crap out of our ZRXs. Whether for more speed, more power, better passenger perch, or just something new to play with, this has developed into a pattern, so here we are with a spot to discuss, share, learn, brag, or commiserate. Please observe Shooting the Bull - PG18 rules in here, keep it civil, and tell us what kinda 1400 ya got sitting next to (or in place of) your trusty ZRX. Show us what ya got!

    A '99 ZRX 1100 and a '00 ZRX 1100/1200. Hmmm. That didn't take long.

The 08 seemed a bit quicker (throttle response) with a Power Commander and Two Bros slip on, but I do NOT miss the heat issues.

Hey Fish, is it true what they say about getting run over by a Mack truck?

It's a bit easier to laugh now, not quite so easy at the time.

It's 100% true! Wrecked in 2009; got a heating pad on my shoulder as I type this reply.
Of course the fact that it's ZERO outside and the cold air is coming through the damn walls ain't helping much.

But.....it is also 100% true that EVERY day not under a dump truck is a pretty fine day to me.

Hey, I got nuthin against Bobby, but I did swap my C14 with my buddy Paul's K1200GT for a dash up through the interstate into PA for a couple hours, and I was very happy with what I spent on my Kaw after that. Beemer was kinda buzzy, a bit unsettled, not as torquey.

Oh and I outran his ass BIG time on a bridge on Florida. True story.
