    Stock 1100 wheelie tips

Been trying to clutch it up. Mostly in 2nd i can get it up a good foot or 2 off the ground in 2nd around 5-6krpm before I slip the clutch. 3rd i cant even get the front off the ground at the same rpm.
1st is real easy but scary as it comes up pretty fast and i can hear my back tire chirp as it comes up. All stock, besides holeshot bolton muffler. I suck at bouncing the front and do not like stand up wheelies. Thanks guys.

These bikes are choked up in stock form. A full exhaust and jet kit work wonders. Adding a 1109 kit and zx11 cams will give you even better front tire mileage.

Install a quick shifter wheelie in second and shift while the front wheel is in the air
Or stand up bounce the front end down and crack the throttle and give it a hard tug back and it should come up in 3rd and ride a nice 120mph wheelie

It would help if you run a 16 tooth up front and a 47 in the rear if you are looking to wheelie a lot

Looking foward to the mods... but I got other priorities at the moment sadly..
I got a 16t coming moght be able to get a 47t rear, my daily work commute is around 80 miles on the hwy. and I already get crappy gas mileage... So no one has any tips for me all stock?
I was messin around more and can pop the front up in 2nd just about everytime but just 2 feet
I can get first gear up pretty good but its too twitchy to ride it out...

I can tell you that trying to clutch up the bike in 3rd gear is asking for a smoked clutch. I have a 1224 with carrozzeria v star rims and the bike doesn't come up in 3rd using the clutch

best advice dont loop it . If all you want are wheelies invest in a Mr Turbo oil pan and plan on braking a few controls if you do alot of stand ups if your over a 150 pounds .

    Re: Stock 1100 wheelie tips

The only time I could get a 3rd gear wheelie (before the turbo stuff...just a muzzy full system) was standing, bouncing, and clutching... I want to say it was wound up pretty good too...I'd get into that 7k range and blip the clutch and let it go while I keep the throttle rolling on... just be sure to COVER THE REAR BRAKE!!!... if your standing up it is more about body position and using your weight to get it to the balance point... if you sitting its a little more throttle control... if you can't see where your going due to your guages are in the way.. your getting close to the balance point!

    Be careful!

Your not doing it right. A 1224 has no problem picking up the front in third

    What's ur gearing?
