Taillight that houses the power of the sun. Bolt on options?

    I want an LED taillight.

Would prefer to have it with integrated turn signals.

Don't really care if it's clear, red, whatever.

Most of the LED bolt on versions I see make no mention of LED count or ratings. I want something loaded with LEDs that is going to be mega bright. Aside from going custom, are there any options?

Those that have the standard clear LED tail w/integrated turns, are you satisfied with brightness?

I am planning on adding an additional flashing LED strip for braking, but the more the better.

    Thank you sirs.

They have different bulbs, with brightness ratings and all.

Honestly though, three best would be opening the housing and stuffing it with LED filled circuit board.

Yes brighter than stock, especially the brake light. Very happy with it. First mod on my bike is the lights. Selling it as I'm putting bike to stock to sell.

Check out the thread titled "Some saturday mods".
This looks like a nice system to get the signal lights as red running lights and additional brake lights while still keeping amber turns.

For an additional brake light I use one of these - http://www.customdynamics.com/knight..._light_bar.htm for about $30 , it is very bright and flashes for five seconds for additional warning then goes on solid. Can be ordered from that website or any parts unlimited dealer .

I have a non-integrated LED taillight from RIFFGMBH (Germany). They have the non-integrated lights in both clear and smoked lenses (refererred to as diffuser disc in the descriptions), and an integrated version in clear only.

I couldn't find the number of leds in the website descriptions, but I think I remember them telling me they have like 96 individual led lights in them. Plus, they have a row of clear leds facing straight down to illuminate your license plate. I can't remember if they're made in Germany, but it is definitely a way better unit than the Clear Alternatives item that I had ordered previously and returned the same day (had dirt and a hair inside the lens!).
Quick delivery and decent pricing, and they respond to email quickly.

Now I'll bet that is bright! But don't you need a lens/cover to defract the light and keep the rain out?
