I went this route when I built mine..............was a PITA, but didn't want to boost the whole airbox/frame...........



Worked pretty well.

THAT is a secret LoL ...........I didn't cut or grind the frame at all......it was a challenge.

Man you had better! I aquired a bunch of nice after market parts from a motor that was built with EVERYTHING... (except a billet basket) that exploded, destroying the motor! They saved $300 and wasted thousands!!

Yeah,I got all of six passes out of it before it ate the crank.Already got me a GenII crank and the rods are at the machine shop being resized.Hopefully another two weeks and back together this time as a 1475

Beautiful bike.i almost went that direction but found a smoking deal on an ex grudge Busa.Then one thing led to another.

Engine is back in. Had been waiting on the Muzzy oil pump cover to show up because of a bad leak between the stock cover and case. Should have it running this weekend........just in time for my local track to announce that they will be closed for the 2013 season. Dammit..

She be runnin!! Got a Wego3 to install and will get it dynoed in a couple weeks.

I predicted a 10hp loss with the 1 point drop in compression to 11:1, it seems to be around 12hp because of the 4mph difference against the stock motor runs. Logged 11.5 a/f on c16 at 5lbs.
