    Bar End Mirrors

After reading the numerous threads on mirrors, I decided to give the cheapo mountain mirrycles a try before I invest in something more substantial and permanent, just to make sure I'd like'em, they'd work with my big klutzy paws, and such.

I'll button it down with some blue loctite once I get my config set - only needed a little heat on the throttle side to get the end off but don't want to have to do that with the plastic pieces...

Did a test ride with both sets on, just in case and to see if there was any purpose... came off right after this pic

I have useful mirrors!!! Time will tell whether I need the outrigger - fairly wide guy - and whether I'll be able to use something that mounts a bit inboard, but it's the first time I've ridden the bike that I didn't have to do gymnastics to see what's behind me. My mom has eyes in the back of her head, but didn't pass the trait along to me

Mirrycle mountain bike mirrors. Gottem at my local bike shop - cut off the expander thingy, drilled out the hole to fit the 70mm M8 stainless bolt and plugged them in through the stock bar end weights. Working good so far, but not as permanent a solution as Jason's. I was hating not being able to see behind me.

I used them for awhile when I had my rex. Worked ok, but did mirrors did get a little fuzzy at speed. I still think Crispys/Motorcycle Fred/Jason7019 are worth the $'s. Much more sanitary looking and remain clear at all speeds.

Like my mirrors, if they were the real thing, they'd be real nice... but they'll do for now
