After reading the numerous threads on mirrors, I decided to give the cheapo mountain mirrycles a try before I invest in something more substantial and permanent, just to make sure I'd like'em, they'd work with my big klutzy paws, and such.
I'll button it down with some blue loctite once I get my config set - only needed a little heat on the throttle side to get the end off but don't want to have to do that with the plastic pieces...
Did a test ride with both sets on, just in case and to see if there was any purpose... came off right after this pic
I have useful mirrors!!!Time will tell whether I need the outrigger - fairly wide guy - and whether I'll be able to use something that mounts a bit inboard, but it's the first time I've ridden the bike that I didn't have to do gymnastics to see what's behind me. My mom has eyes in the back of her head, but didn't pass the trait along to me
