    Attention Verizon 4g users!!!!

Are any of you having problems with your 4g just suddenly dropping then coming back then dropping again?

I am in Ky with my HTC Rezound and for last few weeks my 4g keeps dropping. I have read in a few forums that it seems spread around the country and across many phones.

Just curious how all of you are faring?

my samsung sch-1510 is a battery hog in 4g so i leave it in 3g unless i need the extra speed. 3g works fine for phone calls and e-mails and seems to connect better than in 4g. the battery lasts a lot longer and doesn't heat up as much.

My Motorola Razr Maxx has had no issues here in the Houston Metro other than when bad weather (thunderstorms usually) causes the 4g and 3g network loss. I blame the weather not the technology or the phone. Uses battery juice like heck, though, so I keep it on a dock in the office and in the car and on the charger at home.

Might be time for a new Rezound then. Mine, and many others, can't seem to hold a 4g signal last several weeks. Many have reported that the flashing of ics has helped. I wish Verizon would hurry up and get us the ota to ics!

I am unlocked and rooted, but have no desire to flash a rom to the Rezound. The rom and kernel have to be done seperately on the Rezound.

Turn off "data" and "background data" until you need it, then turn it on and back off. My battery goes 3 days, never always on.

Need data all the time, but point taken. I keep the Bluetooth off and that helps a lot.

The update to Ice Cream Sandwich 4.0 has fixed the 4g drop problem.
