    Wire sequence to the coils?

Can someone confirm the wire sequence to the coils? I wanted to replace mine since I felt I was not getting good spark on all 4 cylinders. The shop manual wiring schematic is not exactly clear, so I'd love to see it from a known, good running bike. There's 2 wires to each coil, one has red and black, one has red and green. If you're facing forward, from left to right, what is the sequence of your 4 coil wires? It'll be something like red-black-red-green, let me know what yours is.

I did, and the manual actually has it right there, its plain to see when you're LOOKING, which I apparently was not. Unfortunately I'm at work, so I can't post the actual sequence, but I'll try and remember when I get home. I know each side has a Black and a colored wire (one Red, one Green), and the sequence does not put two black or two colored together, so it will be BRBG or RBGB or similar.

My issue turned out to be a crossed spark plug wire. I had a guy do a tune-up and clean the carbs last year, and he couldn't get it right. I picked it up and before I could really delve into it the throttle cable broke, and that was the end of my riding for the year (lots of other life factors involved). So I don't know if it was him or me who switched the spark plug wire, but once I saw that it ran much better. Still having problem with the carbs though, I'll post that question in a different thread.

Just pulled out the book. It says "Black lead to #1, #4 coil", called "A" pictured on the left side, "Green lead to #2, #3 coil", called "B" pictured on right side, and calls for red lead to each. No polarity given, which makes sense with a wasted spark system.
