Might have been a crash video if it had been me.

I had a snake wrap itself around my forearm while I was using a chain saw to clear some bushes. Damn near cut my arm off before I realized what I was doing with the saw

Maybe we should show this video to jiggles as a how to avoid an accident while speeding through the hood with your camera on and having something unexpected happen.

That would only be applicable in the US and they definately weren't from here. Everywhere else in the world poisonous snakes can also have round pupils and often no pits.

Actually that is in Brazil and most all of there deadly snakes are Pit vipers, more than I can even name without brushing up on research, including a type of rattle snake, and they have Cobras-spitting and monicled they all have eliptical eyes like cats, and heat sensing pits. They also have constrictors, several types of Boas, and pythons such as ball python and reticulated python, and some areas have the Anaconda, and literally hundreds of non poisonous w/ round eyes and no pits just like here(U.S.A.) Now i'm not absolutely positive that one was non poisonous But i believe it was ---Video of snake was poor.

Looked like an Eastern Yellow-bellied Racer if the vid was from South America so I agree with you about it being harmless. However, no Cobras in Brazil. There are other members of the Elapidae family such as Coral snakes though. Almost all Elapids have round pupils, with one exception being the "Death Adders". Elapids do not have pits like the viper species you mentioned. Some very bad vipers in S. America!

This video has been around a while now and I have read several discussions on it. They were in Brazil and it was just a pretty little snake not even worthy of a good stomping.

    Funny...... NOT !!!
Having been bitten while backpacking years go, I can say I hate ALL snakes. It's been hard to leave the king snake I "allow" to live in my backyard in one piece.
I would have surely hurt myself gettin' of the bike if that were me, no doubt.

I gotta add, it has been VERY dry here lately, and we have found several water moccasins in our warehouse , where I park my bike. I wonder how long it will take to pull the plastic off the K1200LT to check for snakes ??

This video has me putting some serious thought into converting to a train light.

If that would have been me I probably would have swerved into oncoming traffic in an effort to kill the snake in a head on collision. I'm a puss when it comes to snakes.

Here in SoCal, it could easily be a rattler... but there are a lot of harmless snakes here as well.

I guess if that happened to me, I wouldn't panic, but it'd be a cause for a little distraction from my riding, that's for sure.

    Re: SNAKE!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It so happens that I showed this video to my brother in law. He said that has happened to him before driving his construction truck. Confirmed that without a doubt this was a poisonous snake.
I think it just liked that it saw a big yellow thing coming down the road and assumed it was a female snake with the biggest bunda he ever saw so he got excited and just had to mount it to prove his manliness.
Just wait, going to the beaches of san paulo THIS weekend!
No snakes in the pictures just brazilian bunda. One of my friends was joking around and said he wanted to see pics of the speedos and I typed nah, just gonna show you pics of the tachos. He said that he liked tachos I hope so.

You sound like my wife when we were riding one day and rode through a cloud of gnats. She was swatting at them so hard she fell off her bicycle. I freaked out, she got all bloodied up.
You wouldnīt happen to be related to Jiggles by any chance would you:

Not related to Jiggles that I know of....
But the back story on the moth is that I have been at war with a mouse in my house.*
Picked up the sweatshirt and put it on and something was moving around in the sleeve.
I instantly flashed to the story about bubonic plague from a guy trying to get a mouse out of a cat's mouth,
and had a bit of a meltdown. Bubonic plague = Do Not Want

*Long story. I do believe he uses rappelling gear to get in and out of the bread drawer.
Laughs at glue traps (sprinkles debris on them so he can get to the bait).
Snap traps? Not even a challenge for him. Eats cheese, leaves.
Little round D-Con disc traps that they enter and it snaps shut? Too big to fit in the damn hole.

You could be related to my wife then. lol One night I left the basement door open and a little mouse snuck in. Next day she was doing laundry and came upstairs to find it running around the house. She called me at work freaking out screaming telling me that I needed to get home NOWWWWWW!!! Mice are nice, the bubonic plague was spread because of an overpopulation of both mice and people if I am thinking right. The story I read about people in New Mexico scares me a bit more.
People as you know live in buildings with dirt floors so itīs not possible to mop the floor.
At any rate the urine from them somehow infected the inhabitants of the house. I canīt remember the whole story, was many moons ago but yeah, I can understand.

power wheelie's? no those were clutch up's. also the way the guy was passing his riding buddys & passing with oncoming traffic a snake will be the least of his worries if he keeps riding like that.
