Quick Shifter question

I'm installing my quick shifter and I have yet an electrical question. The manual says to cut either the coil or injector feed and since not having injectors it's an easy choice. When looking at the wiring diagram there's a red wire that runs from the on/off switch on the right handlebar that's split in two - one for each coil. Out of one coil there's a black wire, out of the other is a green, and they're going to the ignitor box.

Now I'm guessing that the one to cut is the red one (before it splits in two) but a confirmation of this would be nice before I toast something.

Well my adventure with a strain gage type didn't work out to the the lost spark system on the ZRX.

Could it be modified ?, maybe but I'm not up to working on any more electrical stuff.

We'll see then. What do you mean by lost spark? That the coil blind fires every other stroke?

Yes and the my bike was a v-twin with the strain gage QS
