    Crash Bars

Does anyone know of a company that sells crash bars, or highway bars for the ZRX. On long trips its nice to have another place to put your feet. The only ones I have been able to find are sold in the united kingdom. I am looking for some that are sold in the US.

Renntec in the UK makes 'em.

Revsperformance WAS their exclusive dealer in the U.S. but recently lost
their contract for The Poorest Customer Service behind Corbin.

As far as I know, ya gotta order 'em directly from Renntec and pay the
shipping from EngleLand and the Queen.

    Re: Crash Bars

I like to call 'em "engine guards", crash bars is just too harsh

Renntec off ebay, also have highway pegs that can mount on them.
Good thing about 'em is they use the motor mount bolts on the front/ rear and a clamp around the frame near the shifter, cover the cases well & pretty solid. Hope to not find out the hard way...

Stuff some schedule 40 into your champs with a 90 glued on end. Lil tape around slider end and pop in with hand. Pull off when done and throw in tank bag.

Ok, you lost me man. I have no idea what you're talking about in relation to this thread.

Bout only thing I had a mental picture of is some schedule 40 pipe clamped in my bar clamp.... Left empty by zzr clipons being used...and a 90 glued on the end? Sounds heavy? Pull off and somehow match up to slider then throw in the tank bag?

Not trying to piss ya off, but ya lost me man.

Yup but, i just came out 8" and put a lil 90 pointing up for a stoper. I would not ride with that set up, yet comfy, but sure as shit ill foget and hit an offramp and snap all that off.lol

I just wraped alil duct tape around slider end and palmed it in. Safety clip,is a good idea.
