So, my speedo cable (or drive??) is squeaking alot at slow speeds. The click noise I'm hearing could be the same squeek, but I'm not sure. Both of them go away when I take out the inner part of the speedo cable and just plug the outer sleeve back into the speedo drive. Perfectly silent. But as soon as I put the guts back in, the squeaking starts from down by the wheel.

I've flushed it out with WD40 and greased everything and put it back together.

I've also taken the front wheel off and made sure everything was aligned and seated and put it back together.

I didn't have this problem last year. The only thing I changed was the outer sleeve. Mine was cracked open in one spot, so I switched it out with an outer sleeve from another zrx who's inner cable snapped up at the top by the speedo.

The squeek is driving me crazy, I rode 10 miles today with no speedo.
