Rob, I would advise you NOT to use an impact on ANYTHING, on, near, around, in the location of, or within direct sight of your bike again...

Just kidding, that gets expensive. 
How in hell do you guys keep destroying shift forks? Knock on wood, I have never bent a shift fork on any bike I have ever owned. The 1100 I just picked up has over 60k on it and shifts butter smooth.
