St. Clairsville OH RALLY 2nd annual JUNE 15-17th

St. Clairsville Ohio ZRX/CBX Rally, part DEAUX. Last year we had 25 attendees and all had a great time, let's get the band back together and do it again.

Rally dates JUNE 15th thru the 17th, heading home Sunday.

Place, The Days Inn of St. Clairsville Ohio 1-740-695-0100

Rooms, We will have a discounted room rate, $58.49

Mention ZRX/CBX Motorbike Rally when making your reservations to receive the discount. Ground Zero will be in building A, the parking lot side of the hotel but you can book your rooms anywhere you want.

A small group will be at the hotel as early as Thursday June 15th.

PLEASE DON'T BOOK your room until I can negotiate a discount rate, most likely by Monday March 19th.

DO NOT WAIT UNTIL THE LAST MINUTE TO BOOK YOUR ROOMS, there aren't a lot of hotels in the area and the hotel fills up during the summer months.
Its easier to book your rooms and then cancel later if you decide not to come.

I hear it's the Girls from the specialty group of Iron City beer, the Old Frothingsloth Ale girls. That's the pale stale ale with the foam in the middle. And.......the Old Frothingslosh girls are the only official beer girls that have a hangover as soon as they sit on a barstool.

Hey I can't be thinking about the girls getting to the rally, it will just make me drive over the speed limit to get there and WE ALL know about the TONS of officers with radar looking to make their day on the highways in OH. Getting there last year, I counted five police cars, one each in five consecutive turnarounds on highway I77.

I think I'm going 75 to 15 to 23 to 270 around Columbus to 70 and over this time. I googled both ways, and there's 8 miles and 9 minutes difference, the turnpike and 77 being the shorter. Prolly stop at the Cracker Barrell in Findly for a Country Boy breakfast. Pork chops, eggs, biscuits, grits, sausage gravy and fried apples. Ought to last me till dinner.

Thursday is a good day to arrive, it gives you a chance to get settled in after your ride to the rally or get a short ride in before dinner and a few beverages in the parking lot.

There will be a few people there on Wednesday but Friday and Saturday will have planned rides, I'll have maps with ride routes for anyone to head out anytime they want to and most the guys getting there early know the area and the roads.

This week I'll update the rally threads and get a little momentum going, if any of you guys who came last year have some pics feel free to add them to the thread.
