A little work I did to make my own fender eliminator kit. You can do it by just making three brackets brackets in your garage

So how do I cut back my tail light? Do you have a picture I can check out or a do it your self instructions?

1. remove tail light.

2. run under hot water to loosen glue. remove lens. take your time. be patient.

3. cut 3/4 to 7/8" off with a dremel. take your time. be patient.

4. using some black silicone, reset the lens on the tail light housing. take your time. be patient.

5. let dry overnight. re-install. be envy of all your friends.

run a search on bobbed tail light. there is a lot of info out there.
