After 2 missed appointments to the hospital (no one to drive him there the first time then his ride was late the second time ), Roger will be off for there tomorrow morning (this time we made sure he got a cab instead ). Hopefully, the surgeon will finally give the green light to take the cage off his foot. Cast on for a few weeks then physical therapy. Almost 12 months passed by since he got hit by this *#*#* car...
Hope he will walk and go back to work. While many people try to find a job, he had to turn down some great work opportunities because of his health condition. They came to his place to offer him those jobs !!! That only says what a real professional he is. It is really frustrating for him and sooner he will be back on his feet and working like crazy, better he will feel

No good news unfortunately His bones did not fuse enough together to take the cage off, useless to say that this got him really depressed at first but because he is a fighter, he is doing his best, walking every day, working out every day to get stronger... His next surgeon appointment will be June 14... Any message to cheer him up would be welcome and an awesome gesture... He needs to know that there people thinking of him ... Some times recovery, is a massive amount of baby steps, that seem to take forever. One step at a time Roger, it's a slow healing process, just be grateful for any steps you make on your road to recovery.

Thank you for the encouraging thoughts ... the healing process is slow, actually one year and one week passed since his accident and it is not always easy for him... But we are optimistic and as he says often , it could have been worse, he could have lost his foot ! he is a tough guy
