Jesse bags ordered. 2 week wait was the guestimate. 150 liters of total storage. I think I can fit a stripper pole in one bag and a stripper in the other... Giggity....

Dealer called me today to tell me the orange XC I rode is going to have a slight discount and they have another orange XC in the crate that just came in. Decisions.....

Exhaust is on the list but a few numbers from the top. This thing whirs and clanks and makes all sorts of funky sounds. I think I am gonna like it.

I need to find a trailer that fits four.....

I have heard/read everything from they are pretty good to the term death wings. I will probably ride them for a bit and then switch to a set of Heindau K60's for the trip.

Sometimes it pays to not be married!

When are you heading to Skeenah? I might stop by your place heading there and drool on the bikes, except for that VFR. I drooled on it for 2 years already...

I am working a boatload this month. I will be lucky to get a couple of hundred miles on this thing before skeenah.

I don't know yet if I will even have the weekend off. I do know as mentioned above that I am flying a crapload before skeenah so maybe it will be quiet around here that weekend. Come by anytime though

I am dying for a bigger garage. I only thought I was going to be in Nash for two years and then I would move on so I am renting this townhome. Then the market crashed and all that came with that. It will be 6 years in June. What scares me the most though is having all of these bikes in here with a gas water heater......

Nice motorcycle, you wont be disappointed. I came back from a 3,400 mile trip last week and mine was flawless. Had it loaded down pretty heavy and had no issues at all. I still cant believe it's only a 800cc motor. Riding with some GS1200's and 80mph 6 gear roll ons I walked away like I dropped it in 4th. The panniers and top box plus added weight stablized it nicely. I swapped out the TKC80's for a K60 rear and a Mefo front (front K60 not available, very similar) and they were great in the 2000 miles of rain I rode in. Loaded down I could still flick it in the twisties, I couldn't get it to step out coming out of corners instead it would hook up and wheelie which was just as cool especially when a guy on a VFR is trying to keep up and can't. If you like messing around as I do this bike is trouble.

    Nice boxes, giggity...

Installed the barkbusters this morning and the Kaoko throttle lock before I went to work. Will mess with the risers next and then the fenda extenda. Jesse's should be here in the next week or so.

Where did you get the rear K60? Find it for a decent price? Dern thing is expensive from what I have found.

Would love a better pic of the sump guard if you get the chance.

    Re: New Triumph Tiger 800XC

I thought I had a close up of the skid plate but I don't. I'll snap one tonight and post it. Its an Altrider plate and Im pretty happy with it. Drilled a small hole in it because the oil pools up in the front left corner when removing the oil filter, the drain plug hole is large enough not to have to remove the plate. Smacked it a couple of times seems to have held up well. I will eventually get barkbusters but not untill I break the stock ones.

I did the advanced class at Rawhyde last month and it was very cool. They really teach you how to handle a big bike off road. If your going to do any off road I highly recomend it, I learned a lot of techniques and tips to get yourself out a bind after you already messed up and also how to avoid them. Honestly didnt think I was going to learn much since I do so much off road already but I did. I'll be in PA sometime this year and we should get together and do an off road trip...

    Rex,

not sure exactly, I was riding with 3 GS's. Pretty sure one was a 2007, 2010 and the other wasn't more than a year or two old.
