Is there an easier way to attach pictures?

Attaching pictures now seems terribly complicated. There's like a bazillion steps, pop up windows and commands to go through now. And then I'm left wondering if I did everything properly.

Is there a shortcut that I'm not aware of by chance?

Also, is there a way to actually get a thumbnail to show for the pictures that have been previously loaded? All mine show as a big "?"

And I thought that I was the only one that couldn't figure out the picture posting thing. I just gave up trying to post pictures. Too bad too because I have some really nice ones to share.

Take picture with my 5 megapixel iFone.
Log into TapATalk on my iFone.
Suck it directly up from my iFone.

    Pretty easy.

Use www.photobucket.com or some other free hosting site. Simple to use, free, doesn't use up space on the OA server and you can post thumbnails as in my sig. line or big pic's when you prefer.

Re: Is there an easier way to attach pictures?

An easy way? Ah, ........I don't know.

I copy the pictures I want to use into a new folder (that I can find) using the “browse” command on the website. I then use the “Edit” dropdown you see at the top left, and click on “select all”. Then right click over any of the highlighted pictures for a menu and select “send to mail recipient”. When the mail program asks if you want to make your pictures smaller, it gives you a choice of sizes under “show more options”. I use the medium size. I then email the set to myself and it resizes the pictures. When I open the email, I “save attachments” back to the same folder I mailed them from. It will ask if you want to “over write” them and I say yes. I still have the full size photos back in the folder I copied them from.
Now they are where I can find them, resized and ready to upload. If it matters what order you want them in, rename them #1, #2, etc.

After selecting the “reply to thread” button a dialogue box will appear.
Down the page a ways, select the “manage attachments” button and a dialogue box will appear.
At the upper right select the “add files” button.
A small dialogue box will appear, and at the bottom click on “select files”
Now you see the folders on your own computer and you navigate to the folder you made that contains the photos you want to upload to your posting.
Select your photos by picking the top one, holding down the “shift” key and then picking the bottom one. They will all light up.
At the bottom right select “open”
The little box you saw before will now show the names of your pictures. Select “upload files.”
Your pictures will be placed in the “attachments” box below.
If you don’t like the order, you can drag them to a new location and hold it for a moment so it will stay.
At the bottom right select “done”

The pictures will be the size of the sample below.

Print this out if you need to. Works for me.
