    Re: Low Hanging Fruit Pt2

I have run a Votex sprocket on the rear and had about 20,000+ miles out of it, the chain gave up before the sprocket did. Sprocket still looked decent.

There are two times when you can have too much ammo: When you are on fire or drowning. At All other times, it is better to have too much vs. not enough

I'll post up the spreadsheet later as it is focused on the 1200, but what I'm looking for are the other things that I am missing. I'm looking mainly for rotating mass and unsprung weight until I get my own gut eliminated. It just seems that when I had 40lbs lined out, I'd come across a thread in another forum that was about something lightweight, just not in this thread (the clutch was the most recent one).

Anyways, so I'll have the spreadsheet up tomorrow, if there is something on there I'm missing please let me know.

    Thanks,

All I've got is a heavily modified glock (grip wise). I went through too much to get my Kahr to trade it away

correct. any (real) magnesium mag (or carbon) will save POUNDS off unsprung weight, & is likely the largest single loss you of weight can get on the bike (short of a Ti pipe over a stocker?)

Also, if you buy Dymag, a Talon sprocket is OEM f/Dymag. It's what comes w/the wheels...

The steel I'm sure will be an economical alternative, and/or it may be lighter than their alum/steel one.
The Steel line is for the economical people out there trying to save money. (Pete is Correct) But the Stealth Aluminum and Steel combo is still lighter and reliable.

And Pete that is second in command.....

It's on the list. However rotating mass trumps dead weight unless it is a lot of dead weight (18lb exhaust). So wheels would be a higher priority.
