Saw doc today. Pulled a pin back that was poking through the back side. They took the splits off repositioned wrist and put a GREEN cast on.
Said both bones in the wrist were broke as well as radius bone. 4 weeks redo. About 20 gruesome staples in arm. Foot got a boot thing put on. Est. 3 mos. to drive a car.

    James Madison:
If Congress can employ money indefinitely to the general welfare, and are the sole and supreme judges of the general welfare, they may take the care of religion into their own hands;they may appoint teachers in every State, county and parish and pay them out of their public treasury; they may take into their own hands the education of children, establishing in like manner schools throughout the Union; they may assume the provision of the poor; they may undertake the regulation of all roads other than post-roads; in short, everything, from the highest object of state legislation down to the most minute object of police, would be thrown under the power of Congress…. Were the power of Congress to be established in the latitude contended for, it would subvert the very foundations, and transmute the very nature of the limited Government established by the people of America.

    I will never forget.

Try to get the staples removed a couple days early...it seems like they leave them in a couple days too long, the last two days are NOT fun.

I have a friend in AZ that broke his collar bone and was in a body caste from his waist to his right elbow in the middle of summer. He decided he was going to drill some vent holes in the body part of the cast with a half inch drill motor. We all know how that worked out when the bit hit the gauze.

    Re: Green12 down

Monday 12/19: Got the cast off the arm. Got the 4 pins pulled. Good. One was poking through the back side catching on gauze pad and pulling when arm rotated in cast. One kinda hurt when it was pulled out of bone. Sucked. Have a wrist brace. Have to get hand and elbow working some how. Gotta pull the clutch in. Foot is healing. Going to try cane on saturday. If no pain or swelling, out of the chair. There is a bone that may not be right. Hope no surgery. Up dated to MAYBE 3/16 back to work.

There are two times when you can have too much ammo: When you are on fire or drowning. At All other times, it is better to have too much vs. not enough
