    Who built this

Who's is this? And is the tape under the clamps supposed to be there? I have fork braces on different bikes and never have I seen tape under the clamps. Is this normal for this type brace? Preeeeeciate it.

I think that is a Jinkster brace. He was a member 6-7 yrs ago that made them and sold them to forum members. I don't know if the tape is necessary or not. Someone hear will remeber.

Right on. It's a damn good brace fo sho!
Doing some re-hab work on the 11hunnert and found this. I like the brace, and everyone that sees it comments on it. I build a brace for our dual sport bikes that works great, but it doesn't get the comments this one gets.
Does that mean I need to start Dual Sportin' the rex???
Here's some re-hab going on the eleventyhunnert:

Wasn't into the chrome, cause, chrome don't get you home!!
Here's some of my brace also.

I've looked around without much luck trying to figure out what kind of tape that is. It's not as thick as the double sided tape I've used on automotive stuff. Anyone know what it is?

From that picture, it looks like a piece of non-skid tape. The type you might put on steps and/or stairs. At first friction tape came to mind. But with the light reflecting just a little off the tape. I'd guess non-skid.
