Good because I already told my boss and my mom that I'm leaving Yup, I'm packing it all up and heading out in 30 days on the epic road journey (cage) and should be arriving in Seattle another 30 or so after that... The rex is getting shipped out and will be waiting for me when I get there. Thanks for the already warm welcome, looking forward to meeting you local hoolies

Wish you were here about 3 weeks sooner!
    James Madison:
If Congress can employ money indefinitely to the general welfare, and are the sole and supreme judges of the general welfare, they may take the care of religion into their own hands;they may appoint teachers in every State, county and parish and pay them out of their public treasury; they may take into their own hands the education of children, establishing in like manner schools throughout the Union; they may assume the provision of the poor; they may undertake the regulation of all roads other than post-roads; in short, everything, from the highest object of state legislation down to the most minute object of police, would be thrown under the power of Congress…. Were the power of Congress to be established in the latitude contended for, it would subvert the very foundations, and transmute the very nature of the limited Government established by the people of America.

    I will never forget.

Oh, and I was in Seattle a few weeks ago for my sister's wedding, and the first bike I saw on the road was a Green ZRX heading south on the interstate just north of SeaTec. Must have been early afternoon on Wednesday 8/3. I took it as a good sign

Well, here I am! Arrived on Halloween and moved into our West Seattle house about 2 weeks ago. Hasn't been as wet as I expected, but I guess winter time is just arriving. Anyhoo, just finding my bearings and getting settled but it would be great to bump into any local hoolies at some time or another.

Oh and two ZRX sightings so far: A black one exiting the Bainbridge Island ferry on the Bainbridge side, and a Greenie parked underneath the 99 near downtown Seattle. Any of you guys?

I've got a brother who lives in West Seattle. Let me know if you need a hook up for some local advice, recommendations or misc. info.
I'm not completely useless. I can always be used as a bad example.

..and keep an eye peeled for PDX stuff happening....it's not that far down here and we have better roads!

It has been a reasonably dry autumn (up until last week) so far, but we had an awfully short summer to more than make up for it. I'm on top of Queen Anne Hill today (working..........cough cough), but live about 40 miles southeast of you. It will take a minor miracle for a "ride" before March, but the mods have begun in the garage. Beer's always cold.

Oh and that reminds me... I have a garage

Back in NYC I rented a garage but it was nowhere near my apartment. Now I'm trying to think of mods to do just because I can

Let me know if you need an extra set of hands for any of your winter modjects. I'm always down for for some wrenchin

I fell at Thunderhill last June during a track day at the Northwest rally. It's serviceable, but has a ding on the left side. If I can't find a clean used one, I may need to take it to my painter friend this winter, but it'll likely cost only a couple hundred less than a new one. He does really good work, but he's not cheap.

I probably live closer to zrxmike and I haven't even met him yet either. I really need to start picking some of the brains around here.
