what oil for a Scott's Oiler

I've been using the standard Scott's oil in my oiler for years and I know what setting to use depending on the temperature. I want to get more oil but not pay the exorbitant price. I'm thinking that fork oil would be a good substitute but no idea which weight to use. Anybody know anything about it?
    On the gas, kickin' ass.

Alot of guys are using atf, either that or 90wt. I think fork oil is way to thin.
