    Barnett 82 lb clutch springs:-)

I saw some posts poeple looking for the heavy clutch 73lb springs Tanner used. Barnett is out of those but the 82 LB springs are there. These are the springs gearhead119 uses with his setup. Barnett part number #501-82-06023 They are like $20 for all 6. Stock springs are 40 something pounds.

You can mix and match springs if you'd like but you have to keep them symetrical around the clutch.... if there's six you can do everyother one... if there's five....... your screwed. i run all the barnett springs in mine. It does take some gettin used to but I don't notice it anymore. It is hard to feather the clutch but After doubleing the HP there really isn't any need to slip the clutch anywhere. if you try to slip it at 4k (50hpish) and you let it grab again around 6k (150hpish with a good load on the motor) it either spins, wheelies, or both! (I prefer both ) it's way more predictable to let it accelerate in it's own time, than try to hurry things along .... believe me you won't be waitin long

It will either go REALLY fast... or blow up spectacularly!!

    springs

I agree. Put em all in there. The more pressure the better, thats the reason for buying 82lb springs. If you wanted the pressure lighter just get 60lb springs. Just my opinion.
