    Motorcycle Wheel Chock

    http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00...ss_T15_product

Picked this up with free money from one of the vendors I buy bearing from.
Delivery was fast and very well packed.
Build seems to be very sturdy and the welds look good.
All I did was mount it to a 1/4 sheet of 3/4 plywood.
    Holds the bike very well.

Looks pretty sturdy from here. The dia. of the tubing seems large as well.
    Is it heavy?

Is it stable without the plywood?

Tried to put the bike on it without the plywood or bolting it down and the front lifts off the ground.
I would say yes if you can get the bike in to it.

I managed to find one that was made in the Netherlands that is stable on bare concrete, but the thing was 2.5x the cost of the Amazon item. Color me stupid.

Does it squeeze the front tire like the Baxley?

    Re: Motorcycle Wheel Chock

I can't say that it "squeezes" the front tire, but it is a tight fit. The first time I used it (on my RC51, 120/70-17 tire), I had to pry the tire out with a piece of flat stock iron. Since then, I found that a couple of squirts of WD40 on the inner surface of the chock helps.

I assume that with the wood support it stands firm? As in no risk of falling over?

Been on and off the stand and it's firm, it does wiggle some with out being on the rear stand, but I really do not think it will fall.
