Add me to the Very pleased with FP list.

Finished up with FP 2.5 install for now. Stock 01 with Muzzy slip-on. Originally bit on FP kit while wanting a full exhaust system actually ordered Holeshot header at the same time as FP kit but they are waiting on mid-pipes and so am I. I really like being able to keep the stock velocity stacks in place and I like the general design of the front half of the stock airbox so the 2.5 kit is right up my alley. Installation was a breeze allthough the directions were pretty minimal I've been into enough carbs to get by easily.

In hindsite their settings were about spot on too. I of course in believeing i "know" more than anyone else possible could decided it best to come up with my own settings which ended up WAY better than stock but still a touch lean across the board. I ended up a touch richer after haveing the carbs off a few times (not that big of a deal once you've had em off once it has been a 30 minute job for me to swap brass or clips) Settled on 135 inner 132 outer mains and clips on 3 with a half clip washer on the bottom. 2.25 turns out on the fuel screws. Very happy now, driveability improvement over stock is the biggest benefit to me. Power is better everywhere but the driveability in "everyday" situations is wonderful, just what I didn't even know I was wanting from my commutor

I wish I would have done this mod 18k ago was the best money I could have possible spent on this machine without a doubt. Thanks FP!

Re: Add me to the Very pleased with FP list.

Forgot to mention that "my" fuel milage didn't take a hit actually 2mpg better when i had it a touch on the lean side (should add that # was suprising cuz I couldn't resist a 140mph blast on my commute), will know next week how it goes with the mid fattened up a bit but I suspect it will end up as good if not a touch better than stock for my commute needs.

I take at least one trip a week that is 140 miles one way of mostly 70mph slab with about 20 miles of twisties and 30 miles of 60 mph. The week before i ended up @ 42mpg which is right in line with where I am usually at one that trip after the install my first trip went to 44.3mpg. wasn't expecting that for sure, happy boy!
