Pic of oil breather set up with Pods...

Can anyone post up a pic of a proper oil breather set-up with pods? My bike has about a 5" straight piece of hose which is laying flat with the breather sticking out past the side of the case almost hitting my left leg. It's ugly and funky. I could add a longer piece and bend it up, but that would only be slightly better.

I'm thinking it should be a nice 90 bend, but since I bought the bike like this I'm not sure. I have an old 90 bend piece I may try to make work, but some pics would be helpful.

I got some block off plates so I'm almost done fixing all the funked up mods from the previous owner! lol
    Peace

I don't know about 'proper' but this is the crankcase breather set-up I have.

That is also the set up I have.

kazman does one where he uses 4 or 5 red and blue aluminum fittings. I'm just dingy black rubber hose.
I'm not completely useless. I can always be used as a bad example.

Mine is also similar to the pic posted above. I was actually considering running a rubber hose connected to a thin walled tube with various holes drilled throughout and using a white scrubber pad as a filter.

A downward sloping hose from the 90 works.

Is that an overflow hose pictured above? Iím using this set up on an ultra low budget project. Had a p-cup to replace and decided to use the old one. I removed the mount from the side, ground down the lid and made two slots to move air. Cost me nothing, had the parts. Will need some type of filtering material, piece of white pad or wire mesh. That's what I did, but I ran it down between the frame and the swing arm where the other vent hoses are.

I never liked the little air filter sitting there.

No valve or collector. Only on cool days or short rides does it drip a couple drops of water.
In 30K miles on my other ZRX with the airbox I only emptied a thimble full of water 3 or 4 times from the stock collector bottle.

That's where mine goes, to the ground with no filter. Not that it ever spits oil out anyhow.

Yeah, just a few drops of water now and then.

That looks like the 90 hose I've got, so I'll try that first to see if it works. Looks pretty good. If that doesn't work I'll have to try to find another 90.
    Thanks guys...

The oil filter set up is self made...
the unipods are from a US firm called cognitomoto.com
they make lots off billet stuff , but mainly for "older" youngtimers as they are called..cb750four and xs650 such 70's and 80's classics.

Very nice air cleaner and oil breather set-ups. Very clean and tidy.

I'd lose the hose clamp though, and use a heavy-duty black zip-tie.

Cool air filter and breather set up!

That's shown on a 750 Honda... well my guess it's not a 750 any more, that engine breaths mostly from the valve cover.
When you start adding bigger CC's to a 750 Honda they start misting a little from the breather.

Build a many 750's back in the day... this is a really cool breather set!

I really like the air filter set up... racy looking

Re: Pic of oil breather set up with Pods...

I've always wanted something on there; as the crankcase pulls both positive & negative pressure (it is an air pump after all?)

SO when adding a small pod or whatever filter I use some hose & mount it behind the plate/fender out of sight. Maybe less dust & dirt than right behind engine? I've put it under sidecover too.
