This is the way it comes! (If you order it without a Name Plate) Your choice of plate and where (If you want) to mount it! Buy a Colbalt Drill bit if you plan to mount it because drilling Ti is not easy!

Its really quite an accomplishment to get a newly engineered piece like that for a bike that came out 10 yrs ago, props to everyone involved.

I am already on that! I just sent an e-mail asking if that is a Representative Pipe or the "Actual" ZRX Pipe! He stated that it is NOT The ZRX Pipe and Plans to have to "EXACT" exhaust system that will be on the ZRX up Maybe even Mounted on a ZRX in a Few weeks! At least we NOW have a REAL ZRX Pictured (In the Fastest Color) on his Web Page for Kawasaki's (for the first time ever!)

Think about this, We want all of the Pictures, Testing and Delivery "Today"! Even the Lord took a week to get it all done! He does have the pipes in Stock and Can be purchased RIGHT NOW. He is extremely busy with this and a LOT of other projects including the BST Carbon Fiber Wheels even with Ceramic Wheel Bearings that someone just bought?? Wait a few weeks and I think we will have a better picture of EVERYTHING. I even believe ZRXOA Members will come out a little better than others just by being the place he introduced this new system and his main market for this Exhaust system!

Please also understand that there are only about 3 employees other than him there so it is not like dealing with some other places that have a Large staff and you hardly ever speak to the owner! I do know that we have grown on him to the point where he is getting a ZRX for his personal use. For me that is good news because you know he is going to have everything for HIS Bike which means we may see a few more things that are not available now! This is JUST the Beginning and I cannot wait to see how it all turns out!

Would that be the volume that slowed, because the speed would increase as it got smaller, just not as much could get through.

I have no idea what the heck he's thinking... The reason for stepped headers (IIRC) was that it caused a decrease in pressure just down the pipe from the head which lead to better cylinder scavenging. But that's not what he's claiming at all....

If the same HOT Molecules cool they shrink in size and no longer have the same pressure to push their way out of the pipe. so if the size of the pipe increases the exhaust gas does not have to push as hard to escape

To me, when you have a finite amount of GAS taking up a fixed amount of space at one temp and you cool it, it will take up less space to me that is a Decrease in the amount / volume of exhaust gas!

It is also why some people keep the headers wrapped to maintain the heat and exhaust gas speed to scavenge the exhaust port. On 2 strokes we uesd "Expansion Chambers" to increase the exhaust speed and the Stinger on the end to control the port timing. Hot exhaust wants to expand and as it cools, it wants to contract. 4 Strokes are sort of being treated like 2 strokes by increasing the primary tubes in size as they get farther from the Exhaust Valve eventually getting to a Megaphone that if it does too good of a job must be changed to a Reverse Cone Megaphone or some other type of restriction!

    Now someone else splain this!

R U Saying that heat does not increase the Volume of a Gas and Cooling does not decrease the Volume of a GAS?

One Board member already has one that IS in Black. He lives near the Hindles and they used his bike for some fittment issues I discussed He even posted a Picture of it! I will see if I can find it! When I spoke to Brock he stated that they now DO install the name plates but the system can easily be order without a Name Plate but will take a few Weeks longer to get. I have a Green plate on my sidewinder and now think the Black looks better ?

mmmmmmmmmmmm THAT looks VERY nice! I like the angle of the meg.

Does not look like it will clear the filter though. It splits the sump like the normal Hindle header does though.

Now you really are talking complete bollocks Perhaps you could share with us how on earth the design of exhaust system changes the port timing? By your demented reasoning I could change the cam timing on a 4stroke by repacking the muffler...

Looks sweet to me. Who care HOW it works, as long as it DOES work. The dyno don't lie. (Well maybe sometimes)

The only people gonna buy it, are serious about their scooters, anyway. Times are tough, and that thing aint real cheep. I don't care if it clears the filter, or not. If I bought it, it would be for the performance, only. (OR when) My Muzzy clears the filter, but the oil usually gets on the pipe when I change it anyway. My $0.02

Re: Finally! Brock by Hindle, the first new Exhaust for a ZRX in Years!

I am very interested in this meg...but it is going to have to make a lot more power than my Muzzy Meg. I am deep into the law of diminishing returns on my ride. I have pretty much modded every thing there is to mod save for a stroker and a turbo boom

I need a dyno chart with before and afters on a big motor.

Anyone one of us with a monster motor would be fine. Steddy Teddy...SCS...Old Skule, or myself. If you need a big motor, I am volunteering to be a guinea pig. (1224 ZZR cams / FCR39 flatslide carbs / ceramic coated pistons with anti-friction coat, head ported by ED46.

I would just have to work out my work schedule to make it happen. I'm in Atlanta. I am currently running a Muzzy Meg which I know is killing my performance, but I love the look. I also run a Murph's oil filter adapter, which I would hate to lose.

If I can pick up ten ponies with that pipe it would be a no brainer. It looks SEXY. I could care less about heating / cooling / expansion / contraction / pipe wrap / ceramic coating / 4:2:1 4:1 yadda yadda as long as this thing performs and it looks good.

Vincent says it is. Either way...the right side of the y will not clear that filter. I know my Hindle didn't.

BTW...if Biscuit had ANY input on this design, you can bet the exhaust will kick up VERY nicely. You can only hope.
