Need opinion on leaky reed valve fix.

I removed the valve cover to replace the gasket. I noticed, while checking out and cleaning the valve cover, that one reed valve does not seal properly and allows some oil to blow by into the space that the plate covers.
Are the reeds replaceable? I'd rather plug the holes with silicone to disable the reeds all together, but I need an opinion on that move. I realize that the locating pins share those holes.
BTW, I do have the octopus removed.

Ivans block off plate kit, with the 1100's you pull the reed valves, the 1200 needs to have the reeds under the cover.

Somebody will be along any second with a 50 cent way to do it, such as a freeze plug tapped into the holes, vac caps for the carbs and some way to plug the air box.

Yeah, I did the cheapo finda plug and seal in it in there fix. But the issue is with the reed valve not sealing. I'm sure there is no worry, but I was just wonderin'. Sooner or later I'll drop the bucks on some real plates.

BTW, how does one pull the reed valves from the 1100 cover?

from what I can see from my 1200 . they just lay in there. remove the cover and pop them out.

There should be a zillion of those valves lying in the bottom drawers of ZRXOA tool boxes, except the ones that have been welded shut. I'm sure if you asked someone would mail you one, 2 , 3 or 5 dozen

Oh no... I don't want to replace them. I just want to keep oil where it belongs.
However... one could make a nice necklace for the lady out of all those displaced reeds
