    That would be the sport

Awesome!!! It's great to hear you're feelin better!!! And I was thinking about sending my seat elsewhere.
I have two questions for you:
    1. Can you do any red? Like a red passenger section or just red piping?
    2. What's the classic seat look like?
-you can email me a pic at dafordfan@hotmail.com

Thanks!!! Looking forward to sending you a seat and some money!!
Here's hoping you keep on getting better!!

    Re: Mr. Wog's seat mod

Just a quick shout out to Paul - really, really glad to see you're back on your feet. Your seat was the first thing I changed on my bike (3 years ago - before sport & std seats & piping & all the good stuff you guys can get nowadays - heh heh!) - and after pods, clip-ons, shocks etc...its still THE BEST MOD BAR NONE.

I was a total newbie & you really helped me out (not just the seat, but emails & pics & talking about bikes...) - got me started on the whole "mod" thing & my wallet still hasn't recovered!

    Cheers!

PS: Mr. Wog's seat is a steal & is an absolute must. I have ridden 40K kms & toured across canada with a bunch of Harley guys & was by far the most most comfortable - 10 hour days were cake, and I remember not being able to last 1/2hr on the stocker.....

    Paul,
You have a pm about a seat mod request. I've arranged for a stock seat to be shipped to you so you can work your magic on it.

I need you to confirm shipping costs across the border here so I can send the correct amount to you.

Silver REXs are sooo subtle - they slide right under the enemy's radar, then WHAM - they're dead!

03 REX - Akra, K&N pods, Ivan's jets, Teds Advancer, airbox out and chainguard, Chrispy's mirrors, Biscuits rearsets, Greg's brace, Armz shift linkage, Wog's seat, 'n some other stuff

    84 KZ1100R - Yosh, K&N, fork brace
    82 GPz 550 - Hindle

    Re: Mr. Wog's seat mod

Thanks to all for the compliments and glad I could help make everyone comfy.

I'll tell you though... since this post about starting seats again, I have done 6 seats and I must admit it was interesting for me. After sitting on my ares in hell for 4 1/2 months, and jumping into the seats was more than I thought it would be. I got 2 on last Thurs. 1 on Fri and 2 on Monday. I started in on them on Sat.and ran out of steam very quickly. Sunday my back and left elbow gave up, and I wobbled home.
So Monday I jumped back in and was able to get into it, final 2 on shipped Thurs.
This was one of the first things I attempted to do that took some true concentration and work. It was a eye opener for me, and let me know how I still have some recovery in front of me.
But hey I made it work and hopefully I'll have some more good feedback soon.
I stood like this....but not for long.

Your the SEAT MASTER. When I got home today the seat was waiting on me. Walked in kissed the wife and back out he door to try out the seat. She will be seeing less of me now. The seat was more that I could have hoped for.

    Re: Mr. Wog's seat mod

I'd like to thank Mr. Wog for his third party solution! I just purchased a Mr. Wog seat from another Aussie forum member who is selling his Rex. I did 1500 klms on it over the weekend and it worked a treat. Top work!

However, last night I noticed an interesting feature. While filling the storage compartment with bits and bobs for todays trip, I had a little look at the handiwork underneath. All the staples are still in place and the vinyl is sitting perfectly... ....but I reckon you must have been when you cut the pattern out!!! It looks like the handiwork of my 3 year old niece The scissors must have been blunt Mr. Wog after selling so many seats when you made this one!!!! But I don't care, as your seat is an absolute winner on a long or short trip!!!!!! Well did!

I work the stock seat, I don't make seats such as a solo seat. This is a hobby for me, not being a shop limits me for now.
Both cuts I do have the rider and passenger in mind. Well mostly rider..

Well if there is a bit of defense That section is cut after it is stapled, and it's not easy to run a straight edge with the seat molding. But you see they are all one off's and no 2 are ever the same. no sir... So you my friend have a very unique seat in deed. Oh and the uneven cut buffets the air under the seat to give a little vibration for the ladies on the back, don't ya know.
But I do appreciate you pointing out my hidden talents, but please not to many

My Pal. with Love Mr. Wog

Somewhere between there and the Sargent solo seat. A little more butt-hugging height in the back of the pilot seat then neatly tapering to the back.

The only difference is the height of the seat, it's about an inch and a quarter difference.

Notice how the passenger section is thinner at the back and tapers down instead of flipping up a bit. Ooops! She slid off. (We're both talking about the third photo from the top on the left side, right?)

    Yes third one.
On the seats I do, I shave the back lip so it flows into the tail the same way.

Mr Wog: Do you need a stock seat to perform your magic? My seat was, ahem, modified by a prior owner. Not sure how much. I added a piece of a camping sleeping pad about 1/2" thick under the stock foam where I sit to give it a bit more cush and it is not too bad, better than it was, but from what people have said about your seats, they are the barcalounger of ZRX seats.

    Thanks!

I think it has already been pretty well established here that I am not too good at that but I will give it a try. I will take some and download them. It looks about the same as my signature picture and the foam I put in was not glued on or anything--comes right out.

    Thanks!

Received my MrWog seat last week, finally got out on the bike at the weekend (damn weather). What can i say. Great service,3 week turnaround from Scotland. Great seat, doesn't splay your legs as much = more comfort. Great looks. Thanks again MrWog.
