I have wilber shocks on my 1200 like them a lot.Got them in june 06, have a little over 10,000 miles on them. No problems no leaks. A little upset when I read the above. I would buy them again.

Worked for me, but, then again, I am using a Mac. Sometimes when they block this stuff, it only blocks it on PC's I have no idea why...

Maybe because they don't consider MAC users to be a threat??

Sport rdier April 2007, they installed a set of wilbers shocks on Ari Henning's bike (bandit 600). Price seemed resonable, and they liked the shocks, I' consider 'em, but alas, school takes all my money.

I put a custom set on a friends CBX, worked with Klaus during the build, nice guy. Don't have any feedback yet on the shocks, the bike is still being sorted out.

The shocks are well made and engineered, fully adjustable and rebuildable.

Is it me or are the shocks mounted upsidedown on the black bike?

Judgeing but the decal on the shocks and the fact that older Hondas mounted their shocks in that manner suggests that they are mounted correctly.

Ohlins new are less than that for sure... at full list price too.

Wilburs I think is related to HyperPro, but I may be wrong. I thought they were made in Holland, Monaco is news to me. If you are getting them to be different, then why not. You might also consider a set of Penske shocks or a set of WP's for that matter.

Overall, I think the Ohlins offer the best combination of improved control, ride, and feel, while still being quite affordable too.

The shocks are mounted correctly for a CBX, the Wilber shocks were custom built for the CBX and the Kosman swingarm thats on it, the shock body itself can be run either way without affecting the performance of the shock.

Hello from germany to all ZRX guys.... these shocks are made in germany from manufacturer "Wilbers racing suspension". Here in europe wilbers is the number one name on racetracks by motorcycle races. The products are very expensive but also very good. Many bikers here say same quality as öhlins shocks. More information you get at www.wilbers.de, but sorry, only in german language. Wilbers have tuned up my ZRX shocks with blue coloured progressive springs, better suspension under hard conditions.

Greetings to all american ZRX bikers and sorry for my bad english...

Re: Has anyone tried these shocks ? How do they compare with Ohlins ?

Know its an old thread but just had Wilburs fitted to mine and they are mounted the same as in the pic above, reason for this is the adjustersfor compression are at such an angle that if fitted "conventionally" you wouldnt be able to get a screwdriver in to adjust them without having to remove the plastics off the tail. that said done in conjunction with linear springs and decent oil, have transformed the handling of me ZRX. i am well chuffed with it.
