    Biscuits and Gravy

On my way to Arkansas last May.

I packed Thursday night, hit 130 after work on Friday and Saturday morning Modesto greeted me with this.

Next time I'm in the neighborhood...

After breakfast I headed out 132 to some backroads and finally 120 through Yosemite. Splitting lanes I got the jump on a half-mile of stationary cages waiting to pay entry fees. After the gas station I zoomed a comfortable clip through heaven on earth. The fun lasted way past the California Line.

Gotta do it again real soon.

    OMG.

Just south of Modesto, on the first exit off 99 going into fresno...
the big truck stop there: They sell buscuits n' gravy by the shovel full.

And those poor old coots in t-shirts at the round table?...
they're multi-millionaire farmers every last one.
Just say no to mumbo jumbo.

I doubt. Therefore, I might be.
