Ninja 600.
My first Kawasaki was a 1978 Z1-R. My buddy and I had matching bikes and we had one heck of a time growing up racing around Ft. Lauderdale and the beach. In Ft Lauderdale they a have a small tunnel under a river on federal Hwy, what a rush redlineing the bikes thru it with Kerkers screaming!!!!............................the only down side was the box full of tickets from those days.![]()

Brand new silver/blue '77 KZ650C - put 4-1 Kerker, re-jet, pods - pretty darn fast especially compared to the CB500T I traded on it. Was my first 4 cylinder bike. Next Kaw was an 83 GPz550, then in '99 my '99 REX and it's little bro', the 06 ZX6R (still have the last two).
1980 KZ550 in black....Put 12,000 mi. on it the first year and traded it and $200.00 at the same dealer on an 1981 red one. What a deal!
Rode that for 10 yrs. and 40,000mi until Robin decided to suprise me with a 1991 ZR750 for our anniversary. Had it delivered to the house!
Rode that until I found my REX in '04..... Are there other bikes besides Kaw's????![]()
The measure of a grown man is not the steps he takes, but his ability to live with the consequences.
With the classic dirtbike lean. Note the jeans, windbreaker, no gloves and a HondaLine helmet (it matched my CB400F the week before)
My first was a 79 KX 80. It was the slowest of my group in a drag race but nobody could touch me on the track/trails. We all rode 80's back them.
My first was a 1999 ZRX.
But my Dad's 1974 Z1 was my jumping off point.

Why spend life in a cage when you can spend it behind bars?...Handlebars, that is.

My First Kawasaki was a 1984 900 Ninja.
Considering how similar the engines are between that old 900 and Rexann it was like coming home again.

Mine was a 1975 KZ400. The dealer had a left over "75 KH400 that I really wanted but my father didn't want me riding a two stroke. Since he was paying about 65% of the cost I had to go with the 'Golden Rule'
He who has the gold, makes the rules!
