I removed some parts of some signatures.

Wasn't sure who had the offending signature, but one or more of you had Shockwave Flash weather reports from wunderground.com in you signatures. Was locking up my computer. Problem solved.

    Please don't put 'em back.

I don't need no weatherman to tell me which way the wind blows

That TRS-80 Model I is older than the C-64 by quite a few years - 5 years to be exact. I got hooked in 1981 - my first PC was a VIC-20, followed by the C-64 when they were released, followed by a TRS-80 Model 4P (luggable) and a TRS-80 Model 100 (first laptop ever made).

Life is not a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a pretty and well preserved body, but rather to skid in broadside, thoroughly used up, totally worn out and loudly proclaiming "WOW, WHAT A RIDE!"

there's so much stuff that slows me down how do I turn off signature's for everybody? I just want to see the stuff that doesn't move --the things that are little movie things and weather reports and tickers or whatever are fine but I don't want to have to deal with them. Is there a way, checkbox , or something I can do to shut all the extra stuff off from my viewing?

You gota know RS is kicking themselves for not following up on that one. Same with Commodore. Some of the first to ride the wave, but ended up getting beached on the sand....
