Would love to go again but no way to get the wife into it after what happened last year. Miserable. I top of that, we spent well almost $1,500 during the 3 day weekend. Just too expensive, I went the first 2 years and had a blast though.
I will checking out the AMA races at Infineon, Laguna and maybe Miller this year.

We wanna be free to ride our machines without being hassled by the man. And we wanna get loaded. And we wanna have a good time.
I'll be in the area all weekend and I'll be at the track for Sunday's race. I'm staying in Cambria.
I will since I only live 15 minutes away.![]()
Just quit yer bitchin' and ride the damn thing.

I think I'll save the trip to Laguna for the AMA Superbike Championship, Sept 15th-17th.
Just as much fun, less people, traffic, and money.
Plus, for me riding there and back is half the fun anyway.

I've parked my rv at Arroyo Seco Campground (west of Greenfield and at the base of Carmel Valley Road. Every morning I'd wake around 0530 and do the 40ish mile ride throuth the zero traffic twisty road in the hills and seeing all sorts of anti-moto wildlife (deer, pigs, turkey, coyote and the such. Near the northern en of the road all the locals ride the first 20 or so miles to "blow of steam". I'd highly recommend camping here.
More cowbell!
sounds good cosmo, I looked at the camp website . Im trying to figure how to get my 5th wheel and 2 bikes there. Probably going to tent camp.

For the people who got the ROK ticket package for Laguna Seca.......What do think of the email about the blue wrist band is now to be put on the D-Ring of your helmet before you get to the track.........
Dear ROK Members,
Blue Wristband Parking Update-
For those of you who have ordered ticket packages through ROK and requested
motorcycle parking please read this information carefully.
Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca and S.C.R.A.M.P. have informed us that the blue
"parking" wristband must be worn on the D-ring of your helmet (please see
below):
"PARKING BANDS FOR HOSPITALITY CUSTOMERS, OR THOSE WHO PURCHASED PREFERRED
PARKING ARE FOR MOTORCYCLE PARKING ONLY and will not be honored unless they
are attached to your helmet strap (D-ring) prior to arrival at Mazda
Raceway Laguna Seca Admission Gate. You will be directed to the proper
area."
Please disregard the notice that came with your tickets which instructed
you to wear them on your wrist.
Please do wear them on the D-ring of your helmet.
See you all at the event...15 days and counting!
Brian

I also have a reservation up for grabs at a nice quiet motel in PG. Fri-Sun nights, $269 a night + taxes. 1 Queen bed, breakfast, and a balcony(I think). A great location, only 2 miles from cannery row via the back way. It is in a residential area.
My brother and his wife can't make it, so I am stuck with this extra room.
pm me if you are interested and I can work out the details.
