Yep same impression here. Your worst enemy one minute then your best bud the next. Deep down I think he was a real good dude.

Bottom line is he was one of us and loyal and passionate about the...

Re: how much does your ZRX weigh tricked out?

Shave an ounce here. A couple of grams there. Drill some holes. Then add a 2 pound steering damper. :jest:

Only weigh slips from calibrated scales count, not truck scales good to within 20...

Exactly. I don't want any sordid details to taint the memory of a man I liked. A lot.

    Re: chuckc is dead

Damn. Both shocking and sad. I liked chuck. Had a way to put things in perspective. Sad to hear demons got the better of him.
  9. Re: As much as I miss my ZRX's looks....... I AM LOVIN' THIS BIKE

But, but, but.... the ZRX is the greatest bike ever built! Nobody ever modifies them, they're perfect as is!

Re: Black Friday deal on Race Deck

My fear with those tiles is what happens when you have a spill? It's gonna run down the cracks between the tiles. How doe you lift up tiles in the middle of the floor for cleanup?
  15. Re: You ever wake up to someone looking at you?

The worse was waking up to a nurse urging me to take a sleeping pill. :doh

Change any maps lately? Could be way lean, which could also point to a vac leak like you suspect.

    Re: Kawasaki ZX-7R K1 build

For some reason I can't do "quotes" but you mentioned Ti everywhere, brakes, ZX9 wheels. All the money, time and effort you said you'll put into it doesn't matter to me. It's just my opinion that...

    Re: Kawasaki ZX-7R K1 build

I couldn't agree more. Now you're taking a really, really cool bike and turning it into just an old sportbike with modern mods.

I wouldn't touch a thing on it. Enjoy it for what it is and not...

Moot point. I just saw the date of the original post. Never mind.
  23. Re: Anyone near Lexington, KY that could help me out Saturday evening with an oil cha

The extra mileage will be fine. Just vary the revs a bit, no steady throttle for any long length of time.

  25. Re: action cam mount options given ZRX has front cowling
