    Shifter at the pivot point.
    The "bearing" area of both shifters is the same, the 1200 has grease seals on each side. Their purpose seems to be to trap water to rust the pivot shaft.

    Assuming you are talking about the riders foot pegs. The 1200 have a wider shifter lever. The 1200 has a hole that the foot peg spring goes in to.
    The complete assemblies are interchangeable.
