    83' & 84' are the same. They have the figure 8 configuration in the combustion chamber. 81' & 82' had the more open design which works better for turbos, 83'/84' better for carbs.

    My OCD disengaged after I paid for it, figured how to mount it inside the stock housing and soldered all the wires correctly so everything worked. It did cross my mind quite a few times though.
