    Iíve synced more sets of ZRX carbs than I can remember using the above procedure without issue and pictures of the results have been posted in various places.

    If the Carbtune rods sank all the way down with the engine idling you have an issue with your Carbtune.

    I highly doubt it was flooded. And hydrolocked? You've read too much fear inducing BS here.

    Hooking up the sync tool to # 2 is easiest - leave the vacuum line to the petcock on the carb, and couple the sync tool line to it with a brass barbed coupling. Adequate fuel is a must. Idle speed...

    Shorai's store mode leaves the battery at 80% charge...

    My Battery Tender charges to 14.5 volts before turning green. At that point it's in monitor mode and will charge back up to 14.5 volts again...

    Use a small Battery Tender to get it going, worked with 2 different Shorai batteries for me. The Shorai charger is a finicky little.... I gave mine away.

    Rebuild every 4 years, fresh fluid every 2 years per the service manual. If this schedule had been followed the bits wouldn't have looked nearly so bad.
