Well, I dont know. I'm almost positive the bikes never been down. There's not a scratch on it. I dont think i could have messed anything up so bad just changing the front tire. the wear is even on...

I use bel-ray....

the bike has @ 50,000 on it, got it a year ago, i only put on @ 7000.

something must not have been lined up exactly right to wear like that....

well, I now know a lot more about these forks than i had wanted to.

there's another bushing of sorts up in the outer leg....non-replaceable.

The one is obviously worn as looking from the top...

Thanks snake. but yes & no. The "available parts" are a brand new outer fork leg....bushings not available. Expensive ? $555 each!!
