    Great looking bike.
Is that a Ted's radiator mounting bracket?
  3. Re: T&M. Not time & materials. Techron & motorcycles.

Hyundai calls it Direct Fuel Injection which I assumed meant direct port
Whatever it is, it works great

  4. Re: T&M. Not time & materials. Techron & motorcycles.

In 2012 I bought a Hyundai Sonatta which has direct port injection.
My buddy who is a mechanic said that these are great cars but you do need to add a bottle of cleaner in the tank about once a year...

    Re: Hot mess express ...

    Awesome build!
If you can, bring it to the Triples meet at Deal's Gap; God willing Evans and I will be there.
I brought a ZRX and H2 last year and spent the vast majority of riding on the Rex.
    Now...

Re: ZRX dropped cylinders heading home from Barber

    Here's the thing.
It ran fine before and after the rain at 70 MPH.
Based on the OP, the only issue with this bike is at 80 MPH.

Possible but unlikely that there is not enough fuel available,...

    Re: Stock swingarm coating??

    2000 1100
I bought a used one to paint and then didn't like it in silver so the stocker went back on
Stripping the paint off the outer edges of the wheels was MUCH easier than trying to get the...

    Re: ZRX R-Fairing Decals Available.

I doubt there is much demand, and, I don't need a set this minute, but would be interested in a 2000 1100 black set
  19. Re: For all of you full-synthetic oil users...........

No worries mate; one most do what they feel is best.
For the record, the manual recommends 10W-40, 10W-50, 20W40, or 20W50

    Re: Stock swingarm coating??

    Sorry, yes 1100
Hours of stripper and even glass bead blasting would barely scratch it
Ended up painting it silver with baked on epoxy paint; then decided I liked the black better :doh

Re: Would you consider buying something like this?

    +1
Why not just change the tins and paint on a ZRX?
I would think it would be a better bike with old school looks and cost a lot less.
Ohins swap outs would make it a much better bike.
    You know,...

    Re: Stock swingarm coating??

I've got 2 and both are aluminium
I'm talking about the guard that goes around the top of the rear sprocket, covers the top of the chain, and back to the counter shaft sprocket.

    Re: Stock swingarm coating??

Aircraft Stripper works well on painted parts
Let us know how it works out

Perhaps the chain guard is powder coated as I can't get anything to take that finish off without abrasion

Re: How much oil does your ZRX burn or consume?

I burn all the oil I put in the gas and none of the oil in the crankcase

If I wasn't so politically correct I would say that it looks like 51 8balls
