    :wow:

I got 13K out of a PR4GT rear once. More like 10K is the norm. Front PR4GT goes 12 - 13K then I change it cause it starts to steer funny, not cause it's worn out.

Re: front end noise when riding C14

I just replaced the front wheel bearings in my C14, about 68,000 miles. First relatively new motorcycle that I've detected worn or notchy wheel bearings in.

    Re: Oil from behind carbs

Depending on the age of the bike could be perfectly normal. A bit of oil mist collects in the airbox from the engine breather while the bike is running. The engine sucks up most of it but some...

But of course, it was funded by tire companies...

There's Shinko... Ask CaPete about them...
  18. Re: Michelin Pilot Road 5s impress the hell out of me

A lot of work if the rear doesn't need changing...

I'm gonna fire up the welder and add feet to the center stand.

  20. Re: Michelin Pilot Road 5s impress the hell out of me

The 190/55 is a good improvement on the Connie 14. Downside is the center stand is too short now, can't get the front wheel off the ground to change it....
  21. Re: Michelin Pilot Road 5s impress the hell out of me

    Great Kool Trip!

I'll be getting the GT version for the Connie when they come out.
