    I keep the bike inside. I never let it freeze in the winter.

    I ride down to around freezing, rarely colder at least intentionally, but if its that cold Im just going to return home before putting...

    Im open to changing to a different oil.

    far as I know, rotella T synth only comes in 5-40

    I thought many guys run same in their zrx's with fine results. ( as i have with the zrx & zx-10,...

    oh. i was under the (apparently wrong) assumption that the head & cylinders had to come off.

    that doesnt sound so bad. cool !

    I was just thinking it would be a lot easier than pulling the top end off.

    I had one devil of a time getting the rings all in correctly on the zrx when i did the pistons in that

    just looking at my sons 636 engine on the bench


    do i have to split the cases to change rod &/or crank bushings ? I was just taking it for granted that I did but ...............??????

    Been gone most of the week. Just got home. I'll check with my secretary/boss & see if anything has come.


    I believe the plug in the 14 is magnetic

    I was hoping the results of the oil analysis would point me in a definite direction, not just a general direction

    am rethinking that.............. am betting I just have to start pulling stuff...

    Ive read about the ones at break-in but not later. Interesting.

    Kwick: Yes, mine does some lugging, though it isnt working - Im just at 10-15% throttle or so.

    Im +1 in front so Im actual 75...

    you think the crank will be bad if the rod bearing is going?

    I dont like the sound of that.

    New crank.........ouch.


    what's it cost to lighten a crank?

    I just thought the oil would be sloshing around enough to suspend any particles.
