Re: triton got his first senior discount.

I got my first senior discount one day when I took my mother to lunch. She laughed all the way home at my reaction :)

I was trying to parallel park one day and a young guy pulled up behind me. So I signaled left to try to indicate I was trying to back into the space, and he started waving his arms around...

    Re: Blue Hair

Hasn't it all been that way? At least it has been in my memory. When I was in my teens and early 20s it was long hair, bell bottoms, and tie dyed shirts. Thankfully, I didn't have to get pictures...

Re: Rivet vs clip style master link.

I used the clip style for decades -- several decades in fact ;) -- with no problems. But there's no doubt the rivet is more secure. Buy the tool once, and you'll have it the rest of your life. You...

Re: RAV4 TCS light won't go off

Yeah. I was afraid some of the shrapnel from the fender that was totally torn off had taken out something important under the car.

Re: RAV4 TCS light won't go off

    Thanks for the input guys.

I tried AutoZone, and they couldn't help. I took it to my mechanic, and he reset it. The problem was just that it had been towed rear wheels down with the ignition on....

Re: RAV4 TCS light won't go off

Well, the straps were fine, but the shrapnel from the disintegrated fender could have done something. I need to slide up under it tomorrow and see if anything looks broken / loose.

    We've been...

RAV4 TCS light won't go off

Hey, if we can talk about Pintos ....... ;)

Anyway, my wife was pulling our 2013 RAV4 on a tow dolly Sunday and blew a tire. The tire took the entire fender off the tow dolly, and pieces of...

    Re: On-Demand water heaters.

We had one built, and it was our first one. We could fill several pages of things we didn't think of.

Washer and dryer wouldn't fit the space.
Refrigerator wouldn't fit under the cabinets....

  24. Re: Suck it boys. SHE won the 2019 Iron Butt Rally!!!!!

I wondered about tires. A set lasts me about 8000 miles. Of course, all highway they'd last longer, but I can't envision getting 13,000 out of a set. Some of those IBR riders run car tires.
