    You could probably use micro switches mounted near the shift lever instead. One above, and one below the lever.

    My dad had a 53 Piper Tri Pacer and later a Comanche. I've flown both but only in the air with the Comanche and touch and goes with the Piper. The piper is still in service in Alaska as a bush plane....

    I had an 84 V65 Magna. I liked that bike. Wanted a Sabre or a V Max but settled on the Magna because I got a great deal.

    Mine was a Sears 106. Can't remember the year. A friend and I saved it from the junk heap and got it running. Only needed points adjusted and a new condenser. Was way more powerful than my old Rupp...
